Jardin museé départmental Bourdelle

On October 12 Logan's class went on a field trip to an outside garden museum.

They had lots of different statues in a beautiful garden.
The garden was full of the fall harvest.
They had pumpkins-a very rare
sight in France, and
a variety of apple trees. The guide picked both Sophie and Logan to pick an apple off of a tree so we could all sample the delicious treat.
(Sophie doesn't look excited or anything.)
We all took a sack lunch and ate out in the front of the museum.
We rode a big tour bus and when it was time to go I have never been so excited to get on a bus- it was FREEZING!! The poor kids were very cold but such troopers. Their dingy mom didn't dress them appropriately for such a long cold day.
It was a beautiful place and I was happy to be able to go with them.
