We got to spend our first day in Barcelona with the Randalls, it was really fun to be with good friends. We walked through town towards the Sagrada Familia-Taylor sponsored a "guess how many stairs to the top" contest. We took the elevator to the top and then counted the stairs coming down. Annie was the best guesser, I guess.
You never know what you are going to see on the Rambla. Some people who have more time than sense dress up and try to earn a few bucks. The kids were going crazy, dropping coins in their buckets to see what they would do.
The best entertainement of the day, Taylor and Dallas really gave us a show. Taylor tried to get the guitar player to sing with him, but he told him he didn't speak English, Taylor told him it was ok because he spoke Spanish. Then he told Taylor he really didn't have any talent, it wasn't even a real guitar (which was obvious).
The fresh food market off the Rambla-just walking through is such a thrill, with their perfect displays of delicious foods, but of course we had to try some of them.
It's a cactus-after the survey only 2 of 13 liked how it tasted.
