Market in Milly

March 6, 2008
On Thursday we took the new group to Milly to the open air market. Milly la Foret is a village about 11 km from our house.
Annie, Oakley & Jesse. They were so happy to have their cousin come to see where they are living and what they have been doing. They will make some great memories.
The market in Milly is held in this huge hall that is in the center of town.
As all the other markets they sell everything, including every kind of olive you would ever want to try. The town of Milly is very quaint with all the cute streets and buildings. The two below are just a few.

In the meantime, while we are shopping away, the SJT family was headed to the airport in Kentucky to take flight.

North is all ready for the long trip.
Mom and Patti are also headed to the airport for the big journey.
Brandon and Kristen went into Paris to spend the night, while they were there they saw the lights flick on at the Eiffel Tower and they got this great picture with their camera.

Thursday we will all be here together!!

We just stumbled upon your blog from Lisa and D. Who would've guessed you were heading to France for a year! It's been fun to read your blog and see your family again. We hope to check in often. We also have a blog but it is set on private. Email us at tylerhoopes@infowest.com and we can send you an invite. Enjoy the rest of your time there, what an amazing opportunity for your family! -Tyler and Lisha Hoopes
