Our Prophet

The most difficult thing about being away has been losing our dear Great-Grandma Crane and now Preisdent Hinckley. Mark called us early to let us know the news. The kids were all sad, but had good things to say that they rememberd about him. For family night that night we discussed all the many things that President Hinckley has taught us. How to be kind, gentle, humurous, witty, educated and enduring to the end. My children have only known this Prophet and so our hearts were full today at his passing.
"At least now he gets to finally meet his master that he has been serving", was the first thing Annie said when she found out.
I wish I would have been local to hear all the wonderul broadcasts and many things they would have said about him.
We feel the same with our Great Grandma. My children loved her so much. She always made us smile and feel loved. She taught us so many wonderful things and we have a little hole in our hearts by not being there for the funeral.
We will miss them both!
