Marché- Market

March 14, 2008
Grandpa bought a great book on WWII when he was in Normandie. Logan found it and couldn't get his nose out of it, everytime I turned around he was reading it.

This was where you could find Patti most of the time when she was at the house. She kept a very detailed journal of her adventures. Wouldn't we all love to read it, with Patti's humor and eye for detail I'm sure she didn't miss a beat. I put my dibs in for it someday!
To market to market we all did sing, home again, home again with all sorts of things!

Une belle chapeau Tante Patti. I love, love hats-it's easy to increase the collection here because they have so many for sale. Patti found a perfect one at market on Friday.
So did Travis. Don't you think he looks like he just stepped off the map in Scotland. You'll be really glad you have it in your later years. He was afraid it was an old man's hat. We think you look fab Trav!! We must remember to honor our forefathers- You are doing a great job.
That was a fun memory!
After a full day of shopping, we headed to the sand for a little fun.
So can you tell what kind of an influence the WWII book had. They are brave soilders hiding out in their bunker. North had some great input on this activity as well. He learned a lot on his trip to Normandie and taught the boys all kinds of things.
Aren't dads great. Gotta love the outfit on Sophie.
How we love our grandpa.

It's a disease I tell you, it's contagious. As you all know we love jumping rope. Grandma and Grandpa started a very healthy activity around here and whenever we get it out everyone wants to give it a shot.
