Versailles avec ma famille

March 8, 2008
Getting ready for our big day at Versailles. Patti and I walked to the bakery to get the baguettes for our lunch and dinner.
Right when we arrived North spotted the pigeon perched on this statue.

There was a pretty good crowd there, so we had lots of photo time while we were in line.

North, you are sooooo strong!

We introduced everyone to our snazy apple sauce treat so here Mo & Oakely are enjoying their Pom Pottes.
The girls listening and learning about Versailles.
The hall of mirrors.
Now this is what I call a tailgate party. I don't think they do that much here, but we showed the French what it is all about today.

Even though the boys looks like thier crammed in the back, between both vans there was enough room for everyone. It was really quite fun.

Ok guys, pretend like you are falling over.
Yeah, like that- that's good, it really looks like you are falling.

Oh my goodness, we're just glad the water was not right behind you- Oakley and Annie would be very wet!
This is one of my favorite pictures from the trip.
Jesse as a statue in the gardens.

Half of the group was able to make it to Marie Antionettes domain to see the farm before it closed for the night.
So once again thanks to Kristen's camera, we can make you feel like you were there too.

Lucky Logan, getting a ride back to the car.

The beautiful view of the Chateau at night.
When we came home we had a fun dinner of Raclette. Everyone enjoyed themselves and we filled the room with the aroma of all the good meats and cheese.
