Grandpa worked with each of the boys making a wood car. In our search for his shutter hardware we located several "home depot" type stores. We found and bought some wood, nails, glue and a saw. He helped them draw out what they wanted it to look like and map out the dimensions. Then together they cut and and glued and nailed. They boys painted them and were very proud. Notice the fancy wheels- bottle caps, thanks to clever Grandpa.
